Selo Rovak The Mechanic (Tosharan) Expert
After completing the main story mission “New Tricks” on Toshara, Danka will inform Kay about the possibility of upgrading her slicing kit and Speeder. To get started on this, head over to Jaunta’s Hope and speak with the barkeep to initiate the mission chain that unlocks The Mechanic.
Here are the abilities you’ll unlock with The Mechanic:
- Speed Boost: Adds a speed boost function to the Speeder.
- Speeder Jump: Allows the Speeder to perform a short upward jump.
- Treasure Hunter: Nix provides signals when containers are nearby.
- Smoke Bomb: A smoke grenade that obscures enemies’ vision.
- Scoundrel’s Pouch: Increases the carrying capacity for grenades and Bacta Vials.
- Outlaw’s Pouch: Further expands the capacity for grenades and Bacta Vials.
Unlock Conditions:
Speed Boost:
This ability is automatically unlocked when you recruit Selo Rovak.
Speeder Jump:
Achieve a jump of 60 meters without falling off the Speeder.
Treasure Hunter:
Find and open 10 containers, use Nix to fetch an item, and discover 4 different ways to make Nix happy. Some ways include using the Grappling Hook Swing with Nix, detonating an explosive barrel and eliminating enemies, feeding Nix at the market, and rescuing him during a later story section.
Smoke Bomb:
To craft the Smoke Bomb, gather a Smoke Bomb Compressor, 7 Polycarbonate materials, and 3 MG-2 Power Exceeders. The Smoke Bomb Compressor can be found in Fallen Mound on Toshara as part of a Key Part Intel quest. MG-2s can be located in chests within Empire-controlled areas, including aboard Fuel Station Visavi.
Scoundrel’s Pouch:
The Durafiber Fabric needed is part of a Key Part Intel quest, found in Boulder Forest, west of Jaunta’s Hope.
Outlaw’s Pouch:
Similar to previous objectives, the Elastic Durafiber Fabric is a Key Item Intel quest. Select it in your journal to follow the objectives. Direct Energy Circuits can be purchased at Shuma Rogue Merchant’s stall, the same place where you can buy the Elastic Durafiber Fabric.
