Rooster Trace The Mercenary (Kijimi City) Expert
When you arrive on Kijimi, head to The Domak Refectory in Kijimi City and talk to the bartender to kick off this quest chain. The bartender will direct you to speak with Rooster, which begins The Mercenary story quest. Complete this quest to unlock the associated Expert.
Mercenary Abilities:
- Can I Try That?: Allows Kay to pick up more enemy weapons.
- I Like This Thing: Increases the ammo capacity of picked-up weapons by 25%.
- Feelers Out: Doubles Nix’s detection range with Nix Sense.
- Sharpshooting: Significantly boosts Adrenaline earned from headshots.
- Loop Maneuver: Grants the Trailblazer a 180-degree flip turn.
- Top Roll Maneuver: Adds a 360-degree roll to the Trailblazer, helping you evade pursuers.

Pick up 5 different weapons and defeat enemies with each of them.
Feelers Out
Have Nix fetch a weapon, Bacta Vial, and grenade. Complete a Thief contract without being detected, and make Nix jealous by interacting with another animal in Nix’s presence.
Sharpshooting
Land 15 headshots, complete an Enforcer contract, and use a Marksman rifle to take down 8 enemies.
Loop Maneuver
Destroy 6 Tie Interceptors, take out 12 enemy ships, and complete a Space Smuggler contract. For Tie Interceptors, head to Toshara’s orbit and attack the Empire base in space—they’ll occasionally spawn in response.
Top Roll Maneuver
First, unlock the Loop Maneuver. Then, defeat an Imperial Gozantic-Class Cruiser in space and complete a Space Enforcer contract. These contracts are indicated by a gun and galaxy symbol. To find a Gozantic-Class Cruiser, attack the Empire space base in Toshara’s orbit. The Cruiser will appear when you reach the maximum wanted level.
