Mastering Stealth: Key Differences in Gameplay Objectives Guide

In stealth sections of the game, you’ll typically encounter two key objectives that require careful attention:

  • Avoid Being Spotted: In these scenarios, stealth is paramount. You must only approach enemies when their backs are turned, allowing you to perform a silent takedown. Using firearms or making loud noises is generally prohibited. If you’re detected by an enemy, it often results in an immediate game over, forcing you to reload from your last autosave point. This objective emphasizes patience and precision, as one wrong move can undo all your progress.
  • Prevent Raising the Alarm: In some situations, getting spotted by enemies doesn’t automatically end the mission, but it does trigger a critical condition—you must prevent enemies from raising the alarm. When an enemy notices you and attempts to alert others, a red icon will appear above their head, indicating that they are about to raise the alarm. It’s crucial to eliminate these enemies quickly before they can sound the alarm, as failing to do so will result in an abrupt game over, and you’ll have to restart from the last checkpoint.

These objectives require different approaches, with the first focusing on complete invisibility and the second on quick and decisive action to prevent escalation. Understanding the nuances of each objective is key to mastering stealth gameplay and successfully navigating through these tense scenarios.
