While trying and failing to make a Imperial Speeder mod, I found this way to increase the speed of the speeder. The speeder speed settings seem to be in the file drive\database\componenttables\speederperformancestatsdatatable.xml, but it seems that the modloader does not read the “drive” folder, so the indirect way to increase the speed is through speeder upgrades, although this way it seems that the maximum speed It can only be increased by 25-30%. Less is nothing. Therefore, you must first unlock the engine improvements to notice the effects of this mod.
I have also had to adjust the steering angle modification, since the increase in speed and acceleration sometimes made it as if you were crashing into an invisible wall or rock. The problem has been highly mitigated, but not completely solved.
A closer camera while driving the speeder is added as an optional file.
To install, copy the helix folder in you game folder. You also need to install Ultimate Star Wars Outlaws ModLoader.
