Upgrading Your Speeder in Star Wars Outlaws
In the vast, open-world environments of Star Wars Outlaws, you’ll need more than just your feet to get around. Fortunately, you’ve got a speeder at your disposal-though it might need some tweaking. Here’s a guide on how to upgrade your speeder in Star Wars Outlaws.
How to Upgrade Your Speeder in Star Wars Outlaws
The speeder in Star Wars Outlaws is your go-to vehicle once you crash land on the planet of Toshara. After exiting your ship, the Trailblazer, you’ll fend off bandits while protecting a mechanic named Waka. Once the dust settles, you’ll hop onto your speeder and head towards Mirogana, where your next campaign objective awaits.
Speeder upgrades are managed by various NPCs scattered across settlements. For instance, Valith Nuulvys in Mirogana and Trellem Hobarchi in Jaunta’s Hope are key to improving your ride. Other mechanics in different locations also offer upgrades. Just make sure you have the required materials to get those upgrades installed.
Special Unlocks for Your Speeder
As you progress, you’ll come across rumors in the Mirogana cantina about an expert NPC named Selo Rovak, also known as the Mechanic. Completing his quest chain unlocks the Speed Boost ability, giving your speeder a short burst of speed. Selo also offers a Jump Boost upgrade, allowing your speeder to perform a vertical jump, perfect for dodging obstacles.
Later, on the planet of Akiva, you’ll encounter another expert NPC, Temmin Wexley. He’ll guide you through a quest that unlocks a crucial upgrade-enabling your speeder to cross bodies of water, opening up new areas to explore.
