How to Access Your Ultimate Edition and Preorder Bonuses in Star Wars Outlaws
For those who preordered or opted for the premium versions, Star Wars Outlaws has some special bonuses waiting for you.
Star Wars Outlaws is Ubisoft’s ambitious take on an open-world (or open-ish) Star Wars game, developed by the same team behind The Division. If you preordered the game or purchased the Gold or Ultimate editions, you’re in line to receive some extra goodies. However, figuring out how to claim these bonuses can be a bit tricky. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to find and claim your Star Wars Outlaws bonuses, including preorder bonuses and several cosmetic sets that pay tribute to iconic characters from the Star Wars universe.
How to Claim Your Preorder, Gold Edition, and Ultimate Edition Bonuses in Star Wars Outlaws
If you preordered at least the standard edition, you’re entitled to various bonuses, primarily cosmetic, though some might add future content to the game. You can check out our Star Wars Outlaws preorder guide for the complete list of items available to you, but since the process for claiming them is the same, we’ll explain how to add them to your collection.
To claim your bonuses, progress through the main story until you reach a mission called “New Tricks.” Without giving away any spoilers, this mission takes place onboard a spaceship where you’ll find several interaction points, including a station to upgrade your blaster, a spot to feed your animal companion Nix, and more.
In the ship’s hangar, there’s a delivery crate. Open this crate to receive the bundle of items associated with your specific purchase. Note that you won’t have access to this ship-or the crate-until you reach this particular mission. If you don’t focus on the main story, it could take several hours before you can claim your items.
Keep this in mind as you play. The game introduces a variety of side missions and other distractions, such as gambling minigames, before you get a chance to access the delivery crate. According to Steve Watts, these activities are all part of immersing players in the Star Wars universe’s seedy underbelly in a way that hasn’t been done before. However, since the bonuses are purely cosmetic, there’s no need to rush to them-they’ll simply make Kay and Nix’s adventure a bit more stylish.
