Temmin Wexley The Scavenger (Akiva) Expert
Upon arriving on Akiva, you’ll be given the mission to locate and rescue Gedeek during the quest “The Droidsmith.” This is a straightforward story mission—just follow the objective markers to complete it.
After you’ve completed the mission, Gedeek will inform you about a friend who can help upgrade your speeder. Head over to Sashin, where your ship is now docked, and speak with the Scavenger family to continue the questline.
Once you finish, you’ll unlock the following Expert abilities:
- Hydrorepulsor: Enables the Speeder to traverse deep water.
- Electro-Shock Prod: Allows Kay’s takedowns to work on Elite enemies.
- Ion Smoke Bomb: Adds ion damage to smoke bombs.
- Assisted Scavenging: Occasionally, Nix will reward Kay with extra loot from containers.
- Scavenger’s Footwear: Moderately increases Kay’s crouching speed.
- Survivor: Increases Kay’s maximum health.

Hydrorepulsor
This is automatically unlocked once you gain The Scavenger Expert.
Electro-Shock Prod
Collect 5 Ion Cells, 15 Chalcopyrite, and 1 NL-02 Charge Emitter. Update your quest to find the rare part.
Ion Smoke Bomb
Gather 25 Durasteel, 10 Ray Accelerators, and 1 Flux Compressor.
Assisted Scavenging
Accumulate 2500 Credits, complete 5 Merchant Requests, and locate 4 Smuggler Caches. Smuggler Caches become available after you start Jet Kordo’s Legacy Vault quest.

Survivor
Defeat 3 Death Troopers and find a stranded merchant on Akiva. To locate Death Troopers, attack an Imperial base and reach the maximum wanted level. This will spawn a camp with 3 Death Troopers and an Imperial Officer.
